Our Apparel Manufacturing Process at the Factory of Tonton Sportswear

The factory of Tonton Sportswear has 8 main production process: high-resolution inkjet printing, precision sublimation thermal transfer, automated laser cutting, meticulous panel quality check and alignment, expert sewing, premium custom embroidery, professional garments ironing, and durable heat press labelling. Each stage is sequenced to ensure consistency and quality before the garment moves to the next step. This end-to-end in-house workflow covers the full production cycle from raw print to finished, labelled garment.

Production begins with high-resolution inkjet printing, which produces detailed, colour-accurate artwork output before sublimation transfer. This is followed by precision sublimation thermal transfer, which bonds the dye permanently into the fabric fibres for fade-resistant, wash-durable results. Together, these two stages deliver vivid, full-coverage prints without surface-coating residue.

Automated laser cutting produces panel edges with greater dimensional accuracy and repeatability than manual methods, reducing material waste and size inconsistency across production runs. It also enables clean, sealed edges on performance fabrics that are prone to fraying. This technology supports consistent output whether the order is a small custom run or a large-volume bulk production.

After laser cutting, each garment undergoes a meticulous panel quality check and alignment stage to verify panel dimensions, print accuracy, colour consistency, and correct placement before assembly. This step prevents defects from being sewn into the finished garment, reducing rework and waste. It is one of several quality checkpoints integrated across production process at the factory of Tonton Sportswear.

The factory operates expert sewing with skilled workers trained in performance garment construction, including reinforced seams and gusset configurations suited to combat sports and activewear. Premium custom embroidery is also available in-house for logo and branding applications where a structured, textured finish is required. Both capabilities are available across the full product range including soccer uniforms, basketball jerseys, netball dresses, MMA shorts, compression shorts, and Muay Thai shorts.

The final production stages include professional garments ironing and durable heat press labelling. Ironing ensures consistent presentation and removes production creasing before inspection. Heat press labelling applies brand, care, and size labels in a durable, wash-resistant format without compromising garment comfort.

Tonton Sportswear operates factories in China and Indonesia, providing a dual-hub manufacturing strategy that supports both factory-direct pricing and flexible production capacity. The Shenzhen facility has operated since 2004 and houses the core sublimation printing and garment manufacturing equipment. This dual-location model enables Tonton to serve international buyers with reliable lead times across both small and large volume orders.
